Steroid Injections.

The most commonly used treatments are steroid injection and physiotherapy. Steroid injection has strong anti-inflammation effect and has long been used for ACS, but invasion to the body and complications such as pain, vasovagal reaction, and serum glucose level changes may prevent patients from accepting this method. It's important not to overdo it for the first two weeks after a steroid injection. There is a small risk that if you exercise a joint too much immediately after a steroid injection you could damage the tendon. Tendons are strong cords that attach muscles to bones.
